The ugly truth and solutions

They take time to create, so…

Some students won’t choose..

Some students are not on task…

My students are not working at the same pace...

My classroom is noisy

My space does not offer enough flexibility…

What am I supposed to be doing?

They do not read directions…

My choice board is a failure

Where do they turn in the work anyway?

They definitely have to complete certain assignments…

How am I tracking their progress?

Is there a deadline?

How do they let me know when they are stuck without disturbing the class?

Some finish early…

It is hard to schedule…

Which are the best choices?
