THE CLUSTER PROJECT GOALS

  • Co-protect is a collaboration test for the Greek SMEs and Research organizations to deliver integrated solutions to the crisis management and civil protection stakeholders
  • Increase the collaboration and synergy between SMEs to address complex environmental issues by developing comprehensive products and solutions, enhancing their competitiveness in the Greek, European, and international markets.
  • Allow utilizing individual systems and applications to create modular and interoperable solutions with enhanced capabilities in environmental risk management
  • Establish an infrastructure that enables continuous demonstration of the integrated solutions offered by Greek SMES in addressing natural and man-made disasters, showcasing problem-solving technologies in a realistic environment.
  • Develop businesses with higher standards and strengthen relationships among SMEs and Academia through collaborative efforts and shared goals.

COOPERATIVE BUSINESS MODELS

Considered alternatives of business models to allow the delivery of the Co-protect outcome include:

  • Integrated Solution Provider: embed Co-Protect components in end-to-end solutions for civil protection stakeholders)
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS): Cloud-based platform enabling stakeholders to access and utilize Co-Protect solutions
  • Software as a Service (SaaS): Facilitate data sharing, communication, coordination, and analytics among various civil protection entities.
  • Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): develop and deliver interoperable Co-Protect solutions
  • Licensing and Intellectual Property: license the use of Co-Protect solutions to stakeholders
