Pathway Day #1

2 of 15

What’s The Point?

Why do we have Pathway Days?

  • Give you the time to connect the dots
    • We want you to put your education to use!
    • We want you to walk out of high school with the skills to live independently and successfully.
    • To get you thinking about your future plans
    • Guide you on what is next!

NOT TO:

  • Tell you what you should do after high school
  • Tell you that you need to go to a four year college to reach your goals.

THIS IS NOT TRUE!

What Does Test Optional Mean?

Due to the cancellation of SAT and ACT testing dates, more than 1,450 US colleges and universities announced they are moving to a test-optional policy, and more will surely follow. By going test-optional, institutions are making a definitive statement that they will not need test scores to make admission decisions this year.
