M. Kalaw MS
Put a check (/) on the materials that undergo electrical to sound energy and cross (X) if they are not.
1.turning on the radio
2.hitting the cymbals
3.plucking of electric guitar
4.blowing of trumpet
5.turning on electric fan
How do we use electrical energy everyday?
Let them manipulate any device wherein electrical energy can be transformed to light energy.
Be able to explain how it happens.
Guide Questions:
1.What happen when you plug-in the object into the outlet?
2. What is being produced?
3. How does light produced in the activity?
Group Activity
Group Reporting about the electrical energy transformation to light energy.
Does light have any relation to electrical energy?
What energy transformation happened in your activity?
How is light created and produced?
How important is electrical energy in our life?
How do we benefit from energy transformation?
When electricity flows through a single wire that is very close to a second wire, separate wire, you may visually see a spark . Why?
It is a misconception that "Electricity" is made of negatively-charged particles called electrons. This fundamental error leads most people to imagine that electric currents are always a flow of negative particles. Actually, in some conductors the electric currents are a flow of genuinely positive charges, while in others the flows are indeed negative particles. And sometimes the currents are both positive and negative particles flowing at once, but in opposite directions within the same conductor.
We cannot arbitrarily proclaim which way the charges "flow," since their true direction always depends on the type of conductive material.
Choose any thing inside the box that show electrical energy transformation to light energy. Explain how it happens.
