CLAN SURVIVAL

Your goal is to work with the members of your clan to prepare for the first week in your summer home.

You will need to find certain items and a certain number of each of those items to survive the first week.

SELF-REFLECTION PROMPTS

1. The Kumeyaay used math to track the moon, the seasons, and the weather using math. Can you name at least three places you see math in your own life, outside of math class?

SELF-REFLECTION PROMPTS

2. Imagine you are a Kumeyaay kid at the end of your first day in your new summer home by the river. Write a story (or draw a picture) about what the end of your day is like after you return from doing your tasks. What do you eat? What do you do to relax? Who do you spend time with?
