Military Career Pathway

Why is the military a good career choice?

Beyond its call to patriotism and self-sacrifice, the Military attracts career soldiers because tangible rewards, such as salary, benefits and retirement, make being a soldier a worthwhile profession.

Can you choose what you want to do in the military?

Jobs in the Military is called a MOS, or military occupational specialty. ... If the job you want is not available, your only choices are to choose a different job, or not enlist if there is nothing else you prefer to do in the Military.

Does the military really pay for college?

Going to military right out of high school means you will not get a college education. ... Not only does the military pay up to 100 percent of college tuition while you serve on active duty, the military also offers the GI Bill (about $36,000) to use for college up to 10 years after leaving the service.
