Title I Eligibility

FALSE

  • Title I eligibility is based on the school’s Pupils in Poverty (PIP) percentages from 135-day counts.
  • Schools are eligible if they have a PIP% of 40% or more.
  • Schools at 75% and above MUST be served.
  • If funding is available, other eligible schools may be served in ranking order.
    • (2023-2024 – Funding was only available to serve schools at 61% and above.)
  • Therefore, new schools are not eligible for Title I during their first year.
  • Schools are required to have at least one full year of planning to be eligible to receive Title I funds.

    • Technology
  2. Determine how each area will be assessed.
