Community Tree Project Award 🌳
Dear Deb Hammond,
Congratulations! It is my pleasure to inform you on behalf of the Shade Tree Federation Board of Directors that Delran Township has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 William J. Porter Community Tree Project Award, at your requested $1750.
The review committee noted that your project demonstrated your devotion to providing trees for the next generation and fostering an appreciation of trees in your community’s children and their families. In addition to being a stellar example of community engagement, your project is, as multiple board members agreed, “adorable.” NJ Shade Tree Federation is proud to support your efforts.
We’d like to invite a representative of Delran to join us on at our 98th Annual Conference, Thursday, October 26 to receive the award in person from NJ Shade Tree Federation President Pam Zipse during the lunchtime awards presentations.
The Federation is happy to defray your representative’s conference registration so they may enjoy the Conference’s education and networking opportunities as well. Kindly let me know the name of the person who will be standing to accept the award on behalf of Delran.
Congratulations again!
