ESCAPE OSSR metadata analysis
Good practice versus reality: A landscape analysis of Research Software metadata adoption in European Open Science Clusters
El Hounsri, Anas and Garijo, Daniel. To appear in Proceedings of the Mining Software Repositories Conference, 2025). Association for Computing Machinery. MSR '25. 2025. https://dgarijo.com/papers/El_Hounsri_MSR_2025_landscape_analysis_CR.pdf
⇒ shows the good job we did to push for exhaustive metadata description in the OSSR

WIP: detailed analysis of the metadata in the OSSR records
⇒ part of the CODEMETASOFT project (OSCARS cascading grant)
⇒ the goal is to identify mistakes in codemeta.json, automatically propose updates to fix them, and provide mechanisms to maintain codemeta.json up-to-date
⇒ https://rs-quality-checks-2b2333.gitlab.io/ : 1st step comparing metadata provided by maintainers in their codemeta.json file to the metadata provided by other sources (e.g. github/gitlab, readme, license file, etc…)
