Social Emotional Screener

Behavior and Emotional Screening System (BESS)

Wilshire Park and SAMS are in the process of giving the screener and the high school will be giving it near future.

  • This screener helps identify students who may need additional supports for non-academic reasons.
  • This strengthens our ability to help all of our students be successful by enabling educators to take positive, preventative measures.
  • We will send more information to high school families when the plans are finalized.
  • Guardians can opt students out, if preferred.
