CREATE A NEW PROJECT.

Step 1: Open iMovie and

tap Start New Project.

Step 2: Tap on Movie.

Step 2: Tap on video

NOTE: A photo panning effect called Ken Burns is built in. To disable it, tap on the photo.

What you’ll need:

  • iPad Camera
  • Lego Figure
  • Imagination

Think of a quick story line. Snap 5-7 pictures of your figure in the poses that tell your story using your camera.

Step 1: Load all the photos. Make sure to arrange them in correct order.

Step 2: Disable Ken Burns effects and transitions on each photo.

Step 3: Edit and shorten clips to get the stop motion effect that you want.

Let’s play!

What you’ll need:

  • iPad Camera
  • Photo(s) from the internet for your background
  • Imagination

Grab a partner and make a video describing what you did during the summer break. Take turns recording yourself in front of a green screen. Find pictures to add as your background.

Step 1: Add a photo or video clip that

will be the background.

Step 2: Drag the ticker mark to the beginning of the clip.

Step 3: Tap on your green screen clip, tap the three dots (not +), tap Green/Blue Screen.

Step 4: Make any edits or adjustments needed.

Step 1: Tap done in the top left corner.

Step 2: Tap on the title of the project to change it.

Step 3: Tap on the “shareo” button.

Step 4: Tap Save Video.

Other options

Split Screen

Puts two pieces of media beside each other depending on placement of video (video/video or video/photo or photo/photo combo). Great for compare and contrast.

Picture in Picture

Puts one video on the corner of anther video. Great for news report projects.

One Minute Documentary
