Requirements and Grading

Our district policy for grading is:

  • 65% Assessments - No Worries! I assess students in various ways which adapt to their learning style. I prefer NOT to tell students that they are being tested; they perform better !
  • 25% Participation - Students are required to participate in classroom activities. Homework is optional to students that are enthusiastic. Students that transition to college are also welcome to finish work at home when needed.
  • 10% Citizenship - Practicing appropriate behaviors are monitored always.
