I first used GooseChase over three days with about 60 teachers. They worked independently over the course of several weeks. The benefit is that they were in different buildings and we were able to look at evidence from their schools such as what their computer lab looked like or the bulletin boards they created.

I used it in two single sessions with alternate route teachers. They came in tired after a full day of work. They worked in groups of 4-5 teachers and were energized. They also got to try the Elements 4D app and learned something new.

At the elementary level, students helped their teacher complete my scavenger hunt that went over the course of several weeks. The same teacher then used it on a class trip with the chaperones phones. They were able to review the classtrip as a group when they returned to school and looked at photos, GPS check-ins, text answers, and videos.

At the high school level, one of the alternate route teachers had a two day Elizabeth public library tour planned. On day one, the librarians took the students on a tour. On the second day, she told the librarians the students would be doing a scavenger hunt. The students reviewed their learning from the day before through GooseChase.
