Lead

Serve on the S/P/N executive board.

​

Attend all S/P/N meetings, conventions/conferences and functions.

​

Assume the duties of the president in her absence if she is temporarily unable to perform the duties of her office or if she turns the gavel over in a meeting.

Learn

Observe and learn how to conduct the duties required of the S/P/N president in preparation for serving as S/P/N president.

Strategies

​

  • Schedule regular one-on-one meetings with the S/P/N president to discuss the S/P/N and to provide a time to ask questions. 
  • Use the past S/P/N presidents and leaders at all levels as resources.
  • Talk with other PEs in the region and across A∆K.

​

Engage

Represent the S/P/N and serve as a

delegate to the International convention. 

​

Serve as a member of the International

Council of Presidents (ICP).

​

Attend the ICP meeting at the International

convention and the International Membership Committee (IMC) seminars at the International convention and regional conference.

Mentor

Mentor and guide chapter presidents-elect.

​

Provide officer training at S/P/N conventions/ conferences, regional conferences and other functions, as requested.

Collaborate

Serve on the S/P/N membership

team.

​

Collaborate and meet regularly

with regional officers.

​

Perform other duties as described in the S/P/N bylaws or policies and procedures and as directed by the S/P/N president.

Mentor chapter presidents-

elect and collaborate with sisters across A∆K.

S/P/N Presidents-Elect

​

Learn how to conduct the duties of the S/P/N president and engage A∆K sisters as they represent their S/P/N.

​

Lead as they serve on the S/P/N executive board and work with and on behalf of A∆K sisters.
