General Senior Information

  • Distribution of Announcements - February 27th
  • Cap & Gown Distribution – Wednesday, May 22, 2019
  • Graduation Tickets - 4 Per Student
    • Each Ticket Admits 2 Individuals
    • Tickets Distributed with Cap & Gown

Graduation Seating Lottery

  • Lottery System
    • Lottery entries will begin in mid May and information will be communicated to all senior parents
    • Once forms are available online, parent or student may drop off the completed form to the office, 1 form per graduate
    • Forms will be selected by lottery, a priority list will be set and people will be notified - usually the week before graduation.
    • Seat selection from the lottery occurs the night before graduation
    • There will be reserved, general, and handicapped seating available Reserved seating is NOT required.

(Parent may not pick up diploma on behalf of student)

Time: 8:00 – 11:30 AM

*Please return all outstanding books, otherwise we cannot release your diploma.

  • National Reply Date – May 1th (This is NOT an EVENT)
    • Student may accept only one college
    • If your student has been accepted Early Actions or Early Decision please inform other colleges and withdrawal all other applications.
    • Waitlist – still need to commit to another college
    • Acceptances are provisional – keep up grades!

  • UC Writing Placement Exam (May 11th, 2019)
  • Community College Applications
    • Apply early!
    • SMC Representative is in the CCC once a month.
    • El Camino College representative is in the CCC once a week

Senior Clearance

Seniors must submit the following to the CCC by May 10, 2019:

1. Copy of Naviance College List (indicate admit, deny, waitlist, etc.)

2.Copy of completed senior survey (from Naviance)

3.Submit a copy of their college acceptance letter

Final Transcript will be sent to the school indicated on the Naviance Form

  • Official transcript will be sent free of charge!
