WORKSHOP TIME

  1. Partner with someone new.
  2. Each person create a list of 5-10 industries not already participating in the meeting. Think outside the box!
  3. Then choose the most important industry, pull out phone or tablet and search 3 areas to start creating a list of at least 20 contacts from that ONE industry!

3 Sites to Find that One Industry You Need In the Room

  1. LinkedIn What [industry] do you recommend in [Area]? and also search feature of the site. Copy and paste into your group chat to have history of “who” you want to add to your list.
  2. Facebook – Use search feature to find local and also post “Who do you recommend in (area) for (industry)?
  3. GOOGLE – “Find [Industry] near me”

Everyone make a list of AT LEAST 20 from that one industry and next week we’ll discuss how to extend invitations. We will share google sheet for all members to create a working list for a visitor event.
