Enrolling
At CLC
Follow these steps!
Step 1
Apply to CLC http://www.clcillinois.edu/admission/become-a-student
If you already applied to CLC for Tech, Dual Credit, or another reason, email Melicia you plan to enroll in the Fall of 2021.

Set up your myCLC online student account.
Steps 2 and 3 can be completed in either order, or even on the same day!

Math test will be April 13
English test will be April 14/15
Do you need a CLC placement test?
You may need to take the CLC Placement test to determine if you can directly enter college-level courses at CLC.
English proficiency, must have 1 of these: Basic Math proficiency, must have 1 of:
Reading/Writing SAT score must be 470+. Math SAT score must be 530+.
AP English Lang test score 3+ AP Calc or Stats score 3+
Overall unweighted GPA 3.0+ Overall unweighted GPA 3.0+
AND grades in Math 1, 2, and 3
C or better
If you don’t have any of the things listed for proficiency, you must take the placement test for that area (may have to do 1 but not both).

Step 5
Apply for the CLC Foundation Scholarship
https://clcillinois.academicworks.com/ (have to log in with CLC username to see all available scholarships)

Complete the CLC Pre-Orientation Modules in your myCLC account
(do this before your advising meeting with Melicia)

Complete the CLC Convocation (like a final orientation): Click here (may still be listing dates for Spring 2021 enrollment; check back to do one for Fall 2021 enrollment!)
Step 6
Sign up for a 1 on 1 course advising appointment with Melicia: Click here
Make sure your appointment is at a time you don’t have a class!
Students will complete their own course registration online in their myCLC account, based on the courses suggested by Melicia during the advising conversation.
