Graffiti is often sprayed on something without permission, that's what you call illegal.

Famous graffiti artist

The works below are by Banksy. Nobody knows who Banksy actually is.

To remain anonymous, he uses stencils so that it takes less time to finish a work.

A stencil is a piece of paper, plastic or cardboard with a shape cut out of it. You can smear

or spray paint on this, so that the shape appears on the surface.

design a monster that will be displayed in and maybe

even on the outside wall of the museum during GLOW!

1: Look at the monsters you drew last time. What parts do you want to use for the monster you are about to make?

2: Which part of the artwork will you use and what will it be? Teeth, eyes or a tail? You may just see something completely different.

And Now?

But that's not all…

We are filling the museum with our own art! So bring your

own monster drawing to GLOW and give it a nice place in the museum.

Show that you are a Museum Monster and make a Monster Button for your jacket! You can see how on the GLOW site.

And remember….It's still a secret….

Send a photo/scan of your drawing to GLOW. An artist chooses a lot of them, with which he makes one

large work of art on the walls of the museum. That looks like graffiti!
