Most Active and Bioavailable Forms
Magnesium glycinate, malate, taurinate, threonate
Vitamin A retinyl palmitate, acetate
Vitamin C ascorbic acid, ascorbates, ascorbyl palmitate
Vitamin D cholecalciferol
Vitamin E d-alpha tocopheryl acetate, d-alpha tocopheryl succinate
Chromium polynicotinate, nicotinate glycinate, high chromium yeast
Copper glycinate, gluconate, citrate, sulfate
Selenium high selenium yeast, selenium glycinate, sodium selenite
Zinc glycinate, acetate, citrate, gluconate, sulfate
More on Copper and Zinc
Most Active and Bioavailable Forms
Copper glycinate, gluconate, citrate, sulfate
High doses of vitamin C and zinc are copper antagonists, and over time can deplete copper.
Refined sugar also inhibits copper absorption. Copper is essential for a healthy immune system, thyroid hormone production, and healthy mitochondrial function.
Most Active and Bioavailable Forms
Zinc least ionized: glycinate (gentle on stomach)
most ionized: acetate, citrate, sulfate
The ionized forms of zinc are best for infections of the mouth and throat due to the powerful anti-viral action of Zn2+ ions.
Key thing to remember…
function as vital PROTECTORS.

systems.
Daily Maintenance and Prevention
For the general public, I recommend the following:
1. Vitamin A – 5,000 iu per day; increase up to 50,000 iu per day for acute infections.
2. Vitamin C – 500-2,000 mg per day; increase, as desired.
3. Vitamin D – 5,000-10,000 iu per day to establish a blood level of 25-OH of 50-90 ng/mL; increase up to
1,000 iu per pound of body weight (for 2-3 days) for an acute infection.
4. Vitamin K2 (Mk-7) – 100-200 mcg per day.
5. Zinc – 5-30 mg per day; double or triple, as needed for greater immune support.
6. Copper – 1-3 mg per day to balance zinc, if you’re taking 30 mg or more daily.
7. Selenium – 100-200 mcg per day; high selenium yeast is the best form; double
intake as needed for greater immune support, up to 400 mcg per day.
8. Iodine – 1-2 kelp tablets per day; increase up to 4 tablets per day for greater immune support, or use
liquid iodine per label recommendatios.
Primary Factors That Make an Individual More Susceptible to COVID and Increase the Severity of Exposure
Vitamin A deficiency
(< 5,000 iu/day)
Vitamin C deficiency
(< 500-1,000 mg/d)
Vitamin D deficiency
(blood level < 50 ng/mL)
Selenium deficiency
(< 100 mcg/day)
Iodine deficiency
(< 150 mcg/day)
Live In a Region With High Air Pollution
High PM2.5 Air Pollution contains cyanide and other toxic chemicals,
which increases the risk of hypoxic injury to the lungs.

Just a SINGLE nutrient deficiency can weaken your immune system and increase your risk of infection.
Vitamin A deficiency ALONE increases your risk of bronchitis, tonsillitis, and respiratory infections.
Multiple nutrient deficiencies (or suboptimal intake) in ONE or MORE nutrients – which millions of people have – greatly impairs cellular immunity.
Vitamin D also plays a STRONG role in protecting against respiratory infections, so if you’re low in BOTH vitamin A and D – your risk of a severe infection greatly increases.
Other Contributing Factors
1. Use of statins for cholesterol reduction.
These medications lower CoQ10, selenium, vitamin K2, and cholesterol –
ALL powerful immune system nutrients, as well as increasing ACE-2 receptor levels in the lung, the receptor that COVID binds to and the mechanism of how it gains entrance to our cells.
Increases ACE-2 receptor levels in the lung, the receptor that COVID binds to in the lungs, and how it enters our cells.
Evidence suggests that these drugs increase the severity of symptoms.
Powerful Immune Bolstering Nutrient RegimenNutrients serve as the body’s primary protective shields
The Big 4 Vitamins (often deficient) and Essential for a Strong Immune System
1. Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate, cod liver oil)
Preventative dose: 5,000 iu per day
Therapeutic dose: 10,000-50,000 iu per day (until you feel better)
2. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)
Preventative dose: 500-1,000 mg per day
Therapeutic dose: 1,000-5,000 mg per day (until you feel better)

Therapeutic dose: 100,000-200,000 iu per day (until you feel better)
With an acute infection, you can safely take 1,000 iu per pound of body weight to quickly and safely bolster your immune system.
4. B-complex and B12 (methylcobalamin)
Preventative dose: 100-500% of the RDA; 50-1,000 mcg of B12 per day
Therapeutic dose: 100-500% of the RDA; 500-1,000 mcg of B12 per day (until you feel better)
Powerful Immune Bolstering Nutrient RegimenNutrients serve as the body’s primary protective shields
The Big 3 Minerals (often deficient) and Essential for a Strong Immune System
4. Selenium (high-selenium yeast, or glycinate)

Therapeutic dose: 200-400 mcg per day (until you feel better)
5. Iodine (kelp, potassium iodide, or nascent iodine)
Preventative dose: 150-225 mcg per day
Therapeutic dose: 225-1,000 mcg per day (until you feel better)
6. Zinc (citrate, glycinate, gluconate, or methionine)
Preventative dose: 10-15 mg per day

7. Kyolic Garlic Formula 100 (tablets) – speeds recovery, provides powerful, additional immune support.
Therapeutic dose: chew 4-8 tablets, 2-3 times per day, as desired. Chewing provides immediate benefits.

Vitamin D (25-OH)
copper (ceruloplasmin)
ferritin (iron)
vitamin B12
In Summary
Nutrients not only serve important cellular functions, but also function as vital PROTECTORS.
Replenishing nutrient levels is a highly effective way to boost the body’s immune system and reestablish the body’s immune and healing systems.
Daily exercise, sunlight and fresh air, organic fruits and vegetables, avoidance of harmful chemicals (e.g. air fresheners, perfumes, synthetic food colors, artificial sweeteners) and smiling and positive thinking, all strengthen the body, making it healthier, more resilient, and promote greater health and vitality.
