Applications Due: Dec. – early Jan. (until spring for M.S.)
Interviews: Feb. – Mar.
Decision deadline: mid-April

1) Academic performance, especially in STEM classes
2) Research experience
3) Written statements
Statement of purpose: what are your interests and preparation
Personal history: who are you and what will you bring
Maybe less important….
1) Specific major or previous research area
2) GRE/standardized tests
4) Reference letters

1:1 faculty interviews

interactions

Be able to communicate your research experience and interests

What to consider when choosing a program:
