التطويبات و الكرازة

The Beatitudes and Evangelism

«انتم ملح الارض ولكن ان فسد الملح فبماذا يملح؟ لا يصلح بعد لشيء الا لان يطرح خارجا ويداس من الناس. انتم نور العالم. لا يمكن ان تخفى مدينة موضوعة على جبل ولا يوقدون سراجا ويضعونه تحت المكيال بل على المنارة فيضيء لجميع الذين في البيت. فليضئ نوركم هكذا قدام الناس لكي يروا اعمالكم الحسنة ويمجدوا اباكم الذي في السماوات. (مت 5: 13-16)

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Mat 5: 13-16)

+ إعتبر الكلام أساساً للرسل

القديس يوحنا ذهبي الفم:

Saint John Chrysostom:

+ ربط التطويبات بنجاح الرسل في الكرازة

+ He linked the beatitudes

to the success of the Apostles in Evangelism

+ أكد أن توقف الكرازة مرتبط بالفشل في التطويبات

+ He confirmed that the cessation of Evangelism is connected to the failure in the beatitudes

+ القدوة في الكرازة أساس الإحتفاظ بالكنيسة حية

(الملح يحفظ من الفساد)

+ Setting role models in Evangelism is the foundation for preserving the Church alive

(salt preserves from corruption)

إذا فسد الملح:

If the salt loses its flavor:

+ الملح يفسد حتي يصبح الكارز إنساناً عادياً

Salt loses its flavor until the Preacher/Evangelist becomes an ordinary person

+ الملح في الماء يذوب .. و لكنه مع الأكل يصون

Salt dissolves in water, but it preserves the food

طوبى للمساكين بالروح لأن لهم ملكوت السماوات. )مت 5: 3)

Blessed are the poor in spirit,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Mat 5:3)

المساكين بالروح:

The Poor In Spirit:

+ المسكنة بالروح ... أختيار طريق التواضع

Being poor in spirit … is choosing the way of humbleness

+ أساس الحياة الروحية ... و النور المسيحي

It is the foundation of the Spiritual Life … and the Christian Light

+ الطاعة ... الخضوع ... الإحتمال ... المتكأ الأخير

Obedience … submission … endurance … and the last place/seat

طوبى للحزانى لأنهم يتعزون. (مت 5: 4)

Blessed are those who mourn,

For they shall be comforted. (Mat 5:4)

الحزاني:

Those Who Mourn:

+ حزن التوبة .. تعزية هنا .. و هناك

+ The mourning of repentance … is a consolation

here on earth and there in Heaven

+ حزن علي العالم الساقط ... غيرة مقدسة

+ Mourning over the fallen world … is a holy zeal

+ الحزن يبدأ بالتواضع و ينتهي بالنقاوة

+ Mourning starts with humbleness and ends with purity

طوبى للودعاء لأنهم يرثون الارض. (مت 5: 5)

Blessed are the meek,

For they shall inherit the earth. (Mat 5:5)

الودعاء:

The Meek:

+ شبه المسيح ... السلوك اللائق بالتواضع

+ Christ like … the behavior befitting humbleness

+ يرثون الأرض .. نكسب الناس ... و أيضاً خير هذه الحياة

+ Inherit the earth … win people …

and also win the goodness of this life

طوبى للجياع والعطاش الى البر لأنهم يشبعون. (مت 5: 6)

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. (Mat 5:6)

الجياع و العطاش إلي البر:

Those who hunger and thirst for Righteousness:

+ الإنشغال بالقداسة قبل الإنشغال بالكرازة

+ Being occupied with holiness before evangelism

+ التحول للروحانية و الخروج من الجسدانية

+ Transforming to spirituality

and getting out of the flesh-attachments

+ الشبع الروحي هنا .. و بثمر الخدمة

+ Spiritual satiation here …

and satiation with the fruits of service

طوبى للرحماء لأنهم يرحمون. (مت 5: 7)

Blessed are the merciful,

For they shall obtain mercy. (Mat 5:7)

الرحماء:

The Merciful:

+ الرحمة ... نتاج الفضائل السابقة

+ Mercy … is the outcome of the previous virtues

+ الرحمة ... عطاء ... و شركة مع المحتاجين

+ Mercy .. is Giving … and sharing the needy

+ الرحمة ... تتفق مع من يكنز في السماء

+ Mercy … is compatible

with the one who lays up treasure in heaven

طوبى للأنقياء القلب لأنهم يعاينون الله. (مت 5: 8)

Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see God. (Mat 5:8)

أنقياء القلب:

The Pure In Heart:

+ نقاوة القلب ... التخلص من الخطايا و إقتناء السماء

+ Heart’s purity … getting rid of sins

and acquiring Heaven

+ تعاين الله .. في كل يوم و في كل موقف

+ Seeing God … everyday and in every situation

+ تضيء لكل من في البيت

+ Gives light to all who are in the house

طوبى لصانعي السلام لأنهم أبناء الله يدعون. (مت 5: 9)

Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they shall be called sons of God. (Mat 5:9)

صانعي السلام:

The Peacemakers:

+ عمل المصالحة هو عمل المسيح

+ Making peace with the work of Christ

+ أهم مصالحة هي مع الله ... من أجل الأبدية

The most important reconciliation is that with God …

for Eternal Life

+ إستمرار عمل المسيح فينا

The continuation of Christ’s work in us

طوبى للمطرودين من أجل البر لأن لهم ملكوت السماوات. (مت 5: 10)

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Mat 5:10)

المطرودين من أجل البر:

Persecuted for righteousness’ sake:

+ الأمانة ... الإستقامة ... المحبة

+ Faithfulness … Being Straight … Love

+ الشهادة للمسيح عن طريق البر حتي الموت

+ Testifying to Christ through Righteousness until death

طوبى لكم اذا عيروكم وطردوكم وقالوا عليكم كل كلمة شريرة من اجلي كاذبين. أفرحوا وتهللوا لأن أجركم عظيم في السماوات فأنهم هكذا طردوا الانبياء الذين قبلكم (مت 5: 11-12)

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Mat 5:11-12)

من أجلي كاذبين:

Against you falsely for My sake:

+ الأجر عظيم

+ The Reward is Great

+ درجة الأنبياء

+ The Level of Prophets

+ كرازة الشهداء

+ Evangelism of the Martyrs
