Nowadays cooking is no longer a complicated things. Especially when it comes to cooking rice, there is an electronic device designed specially for this. We know this device as Rice Cooker, Magic Jar or Magic Com. The following steps will show you how to operate a Rice Cooker properly.

• Wash the cooking pot and make sure the inner side is clean.
• Measure the rice by using the measurement cup and put the rice into the cooking pot. Make sure to give space for the rice, water and the expansion.
• Insert the rice so that we can remove the pesticides that may be present.
• Add some water into the cooking pot, usually we need to see the water is 1cm above the rice surface.
• Soak the rice for about 30 minutes in order to make the cooked rice stickier.
• Put the cooking pot along with the rice and water into the Rice Cooker.
• Close the Rice Cooker lid and then plug the cable into the electricity socket.
• Start the Rice Cooker by pressing the Cooking/Timer Button.
• Wait until the cooking process is over.
• Open the lid and the rice is ready to be served.

We use the heat of an electronic iron to remove wrinkles from fabric and get our clothes tidy. In order to do so, we need to follow these following steps.

1. Prepare the iron, the clothes, a place mat or any flat surface board, some clothing hanger.
2. Plug the iron cable into an electricity socket and wait until the iron get warmer.
3. Place the clothes on the place mat.
4. Apply the iron on the clothes surface evenly.
5. Flip the clothes and apply the iron on the other side of the clothes evenly.
6. Put the clothes on the clothing hanger
7. Continue with another clothes.

Pembahasan:

1. Dari kedua teks tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa untuk menggunakan seterika listrik ada 7 langkah, sedangkan untuk menggunakan rice cooker memerlukan 10 langkah. Dengan demikian, mengoperasikan rice cooker membutuhkan lebih banyak langkah daripada mengoperasikan seterika listrik. Maka: To operate a rice cooker needs more (lebih banyak) steps than to operate an electric iron.
2. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan kedua, bacalah langkah kedua pada teks A dan langkan ketujuh pada teks B. Langkah kedua pada teks A mengatakan bahwa: Plug the iron cable into an electricity socket and wait until the iron get warmer (Colokkan kabel seterika ke stop kontak, dan tunggulah sampai seterikanya agak panas/hangat), dan langkah ketujuh pada teks B : Close the rice cooker lid, and then plug the cable into the electricity socket (Tutuplah rice cookernya, dan kemudian, colokkan kabelnya ke stop kontak). Berdasarkan informasi yang terdapat pada kedua langkah tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua alat tersebut memerlukan tenaga listrik). Dengan demikian, perngoperasian kedua alat tersebut memerlukan tenaga listrik atau The operation of both devices need electricity power.

How to Make Avocado Juice

Ingredients:

• 1 avocado
• 1 cup water/milk
• 1.5 tsp brown sugar
• 5 tbsp milk power�*omit milk powder if you are using milk

How to make:

1. Cut the avocade into two.
2. Scoop the flesh out with a metal spoon.
3. Put the milk powder (or milk), water, and brown sugar into the blender and blend it till smooth.
4. The juice is ready to drink!

How To Make Ice Lemon Tea

Ingredients:

• 1 bag of Teabag
• 2 pieces of Lemon Orange
• 2 tsp of sugar
• 6 Ice Cubes
• 50 ml of hot water
• 150 ml of cold water

Steps:

1. Brewed Tea bag in 50 ml of hot water.
2. Add sugar, and then stir until evenly distributed.
3. Squeeze the lemon. Then, pour lemon juice into the tea.
4. Add ice cubes and add 150 ml of cold water.
5. Stir until the lemon juice mixes with the tea.
6. Add lemon slices as decoration.
7. Ice Lemon Tea is ready to be served..

PEMBAHASAN

1. Kedua teks tersebut menunjukkan bahwa untuk membuat kedua jenis minuman tersebut membutuhkan, tetapi dengan jumlah yang berbeda. Untuk jus apokat (avocade juice butuh 1,5 sendok teh gula aren (1.5 tsp of brown sugar), sedangkan untuk es lemon tea butuh 2 sendok teh gula (2 tsp of sugar). Jadi untuk membuat jus apokat butuh gula lebih sedikit daripada untuk membuat es lemon tea. Maka, pernyataan: making avocado juice needs less sugar than making ice lemon tea adalah BENAR (TRUE)
2. Kedua teks juga menunjukkan bahwa es batu diperlukan untuk membuat es lemon tea, tapi tidak untuk jus apokat. Dengan demikian, es batu hanya diperlukan untuk membuat salah satu dari jenis minuman tersebut. 3. Dengan demikian, blender hanya dibutuhkan untuk membuat salah satu dari kedua jenis minuman tersebut, bukan keduanya.
