What to do about old Classroom posts:

Many teachers are struggling with students submitting work in Classroom long after the assignment has passed. Here are some best practices.

  • Stoplight Method (🔴🟡🟢 or 🛑⚠️🟩)
  • Assignment Graveyard
  • Late submission Form (see next slide)

It also helps to ...

  • Understand the Classroom folder in Drive
  • Turn off Classroom email notifications
  • Set clear expectations with parents and students

Late Work Submissions

Require students to use form and add to Google Classroom

  • Easier to find assignments
  • Fewer clicks
  • All in one place
  • Time stamped submissions
