Let’s look at one of my courses and the options that I include for my students

Creating a video

• Will you use a doc cam or a tablet?
• Make sure that the room is bright enough - add a lamp if you need to
• Do you need to file your nails or put lotion on?
• What kind of pen/marker will you use?
• Will you use lined paper or blank paper?
• Will you use screenpal (formerly screen-cast-o-matic)?
• Will you upload to youtube or keep in the program you used?

Closed Captioning

• You can add closed captioning to screenpal or youtube videos
• Note that you can go back to add closed captioning after the videos have been made
• You can edit the closed captioning on the videos
