Dear Parents,
Welcome! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. I can assure you fourth grade will be a year full of many fun, exciting, and challenging learning opportunities for your child. I have very high expectations for my students because I want them to succeed. My number one priority as a teacher though, is to provide an environment where your child feels valued and loved so that we may create a positive learning environment that promotes interests in lifelong learning. Thank you in advance for your cooperation
and trust in me throughout the upcoming school year
as your child’s teacher. I will do my best to
make it a year to remember for your child.
Love,
Mrs. Rosales
Dear Students,
Welcome to fourth grade! I am looking forward to getting to know you this year. My favorite thing about being a teacher is learning all about my students. It helps me create lessons that you will find fun and interesting! I can assure you fourth grade will be a year full of many fun, exciting, and challenging learning opportunities. I want you to know that my main priority as a teacher is to make you feel valued and
loved in my classroom. Thank you in advance
for your hard work, excitement, and trust in
me as your teacher throughout the
upcoming school year. I will do my best to
make it a year to remember, and I hope you
will, too! Love, Mrs. Rosales

emails, lists, etc.
Students are welcome to visit the classroom library freely throughout the day as they finish assignments. No more than three students are allowed to sit at the library at a time. This is due to space.
Students are allowed to look at one book at a time. If you are unsure where to put the book back, then place it in the empty bin beside the shelf and I will store it later.
There are pens and sticky notes for students to mark their places in books they are currently reading. Please, do not move someone else’s sticky note.
I truly LOVE helping students pick out books. Parents and students both, feel free to let me know books that your child is interested in. I will do my best to find books for them.
Thanks in advance for taking care of and respecting our classroom library!
At the beginning of the year, we will spend a significant amount of time learning the classroom expectations.
Ultimately, each expectation falls under the category of being safe, respectful, and responsible, as well as trying your best.
Students are expected to follow
these rules in all classrooms, not just
their homeroom.
This also includes the hallway,
restroom, and cafeteria.
Students are expected to abide by the rules of our campus handbook as well as the classroom rules.
Simply following the expectations to be safe, respectful, and responsible should account for most behavior related incidents in the classroom as well as in the cafeteria, on the playground, in the hallway, and in the classroom of other teachers.
It is my goal to work together with you in order to ensure success for your child. A plan of action and intervention will be established through parent/teacher conversation if needed.
