The “How”Wonderful staff. Careful planning and collaborating with the state, administration, and Jade on communications. Being willing to take risks to try something new and refine processes through trial and error.
Speaking impact
Transitional school students account for the overall participation in the months of June.
In 2022 average daily participation dropped drastically from June. An average drop of 95.35% for breakfast, an average drop of 84.78% for lunch for July and August.
In 2023, breakfast was not offered in July and August due to poor participation the previous year. Still lunch participation dropped an average 82.31% from June 2023.

Grab n’ Go
Grab n’ Go impact
My goal was to have 200 – 250 children registered for Grab n’ Go.
On the first pick up day we had 235 registered.
Many families take vacation, some simply forget. To increase communication e-mail reminders are sent and Facebook reminders.
The Grab n’ Go program has provided positive feedback from families.
