Big Ben the 320 foot high Clock Tower is named after the largest bell, weighing over 13 tons, and was cast in 1858 at the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in East London. Each clock face is over 7m in diameter.

St.Paul’s Cathedral

It is a masterpiece of the famous architect Sir Christopher Wren.It took him 35 years to construct this beautiful building.The Whispering Gallery is located above the arches in the dome.It is called so because a whisper against the blank circular wall can be heard on the opposite side,some 42 metres away.Many famous people are buried here:Nelson,Wellington,Wren & others.In one of its towers there is one of the largest bells in the world.
