I have been busy working to get everything ready for your child’s first day of 3rd grade! I am sure all of you are as excited and nervous as I am to see what this year holds.

​

I wanted to give you a little bit of information to help you prepare for the first day of instruction.

​

We will be using the Schoology platform as our homebase during this school year. This site will hold all of the information your child needs

for a successful school year.

​

Each morning your child should arrive at school between 8:10 and 8:30 so they have time to go through the screening process. Upon entering they will proceed directly to the gym. Staff will be on hand to help direct your child to the correct location.

​

Please remember dismissal this week is at 12:40. 3rd grade exits through door 7 located on 10th street closer to Avenue C. Because it is a half day, please send your child to school with a snack.

Lunch will not be served.

​

Please make sure you review the parent portal to ensure all of your contact information is correct. In addition, there are several forms that will be completed online through the portal. If you do not have your user name or password please let me know and I will obtain that information for you.

There will be some forms being sent home over the next few days. Please try to return them to school the following day. It makes the process must easier for me and allows us to begin our day faster.

Back to School Night is scheduled for September 27th. Please make every effort to attend.
