Scrooge

Ebenezer Scrooge has a “mini bank” in London. He started his business with Jacob Marley, but Marley died on Christmas Eve 7 years before the beginning of the story. Scrooge is rich, but cold, mean and miserly. He hasn't got any friends.

Bob Cratchit

He works for Mr. Scrooge, he is his clerk. He is a very poor man with a large family and a very ill son: Tiny Tim.

Fred

He is Scrooge's nephew: his sister Fan's son. Fred is the opposite of Scrooge: he is kind, happy, friendly and interested in people.
