LibreTexts and the LibreVerse

Delmar Larsen, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and the Biophysics Graduate Group at the University of California, Davis.

In 2008, Dr. Larsen founded LibreTexts, an open educational resource platform aimed at reducing the financial burden of textbooks on students initially launched as ChemWiki.

LibreTexts has expanded into the LibreVerse, an integrated suite of open educational resource (OER) creation and management technologies including LibreTexts Libraries, a Remixer, Conductor and Workbench, Studio and ADAPT, an open homework and assessment platform.
