Education and Experience: 6th Year teaching at YVCS, BA English Literature (UCCS), Master of Public Administration (UCCS), Master of Clinical Psychology (Pepperdine University)

Family: Married with on daughter in 8th grade.

Educational Philosophy: I believe in depth of knowledge over breadth of knowledge and in practical life application of learning.

Fun Facts: Together with students from my first class I created an immersive game that students still play to this day.

Homework Policy

  • Absences - 1 day per absence to make up work, up to 1 week.
  • Homework - Must be legible and is due at the start of class
  • Homework - Will be assigned Monday through Thursday.
  • Students - Are expected to come to class prepared to learn
  • Students - Are expected to show respect to the teacher, staff, and one another at all times
  • Failure to meet behavior expectations will result in disciplinary action.
