Meet Sean and Paul

  • Sean is in his late 30s and has Intellectual disabilities. He lives with his family. Sean strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He seeks a fitness app that caters to his unique needs.
  • The app should offer simple, engaging exercises, and social elements, that can allow him to go onto the fitness journey together with his Friend Paul.

What is the problem?

  • It is important to exercise for health and step count and fitness apps can help us stay motivated.
  • But devices like Fitbit, Apple watch can be hard to use:
  • remembering to wear the watch, 
  • understanding how it works, 
  • can be hard to understand the graphs in the app
  • hard to understand targets or goals

More about Sean and Paul

  • Technology: They both have iPad and mobile phones, however, they find it difficult to access some apps.

​

  • Hobbies: Sean and Paul love video games and hiking
  • Family: They are both supported by their family, they live at home.
