This module collects experiences developed in countries of the European Union or elsewhere, which have effectively promoted an active aging model, so that this information can provide knowledge, references, and examples to establish or promote some of these actions with the elderly with whom you work.

Aging is considered as a dynamic and multifactorial process, which is experienced with visible changes over time, when vitality and functional capacity are lost.

But, on the other hand, aging people bring appreciable values, knowledge and experiences that represent a bulwark for society; however, this possibility will be conditioned by their health levels, hence the importance of achieving a comprehensive public health response.
