COMMITMENT

Some Things to Highlight:

  • Keep in mind that it is a game: We want all of our athletes to maintain excitement, passion and pride to play for a St. Lucy’s team.
    • Reminder: 7% of high school athletes will play in the NCAA
      • 2% of those will play Division 1

  • What we say or do in the stands will have a positive or negative effect on the girls’ overall experience and possibly even the outcome of the game.

  • Be SUPPORTIVE of your daughter’s coach, team & THE OFFICIALS

  • Allow for one instructional voice (coach): Please allow the coaches to do the coaching. When spectators coach, it creates confusion and often times, frustration for our athletes.
