Dr. Alka Saxena is an avid advocate of the socioemotional well-being of children. She earned her MBBS from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. She is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator (by Positive Discipline Association, Atlanta, Georgia, USA), a Life Skills Education Trainer, and a Parenting Coach.

She has trained as a facilitator for Parenting Sessions under the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development and the Adolescence Education Programme under the Central Board of Secondary Education. She has been a Senior Resource Person with Expressions India, Times of India (NIE), and Macmillan Publishers. 

She is currently associated with CBSE as a Resource Person. She is also a faculty member at the Association of Adolescent and Child Care in India (AACCI) and Mittika. To share her vast knowledge and experiences on life skills, health & wellbeing, Dr. Alka Saxena writes on her blog, Wellness Wise by Dr. Alka .You can explore her writings on www.wellnesswise.in.

Dr Lahariya is a medical doctor with advanced

trainings in vaccinology and epidemiology. He has been

involved in India’s COVID-19 pandemic response for the last 2 years including in the area of COVID-19 vaccines, advocacy for school opening, as well as clinical case management . In the past, Dr Lahariya has worked with all three levels of the World Health Organization (country office , regional office and the headquarter in Geneva) for a total of 14 years. He has done extensive work on child health and school in India. He has co-authored a popular book ‘Till We Win: India’s fight against the COvId-19 pandemic’ with Dr Gagandeep Kang and Dr Randeep Guleria. For his work, he has been honored with the fellowship of Indian Public Health association as well as an award by the Indian Council of Medical Research, Government of India.
