From our conducted interviews we've concluded that employees prefer working from home because in the office they have a higher chance of encountering stress from things such as:

When pondering over solutions, we must first understand the side that this solution is going to affect. We asked ourselves, who is this solution going to affect and what do they want and prefer? This includes but is not limited to: the locally based workers, future employees and interns. We conducted our empathy based research by having interviews. We've concluded that employees prefer working from home because in the office they have a higher chance of encountering stress from their environment. Many interviewees experienced distractions, instability, loud places, people being out of reach, tech issues, and uncertainty which was stopping them from being successful while working in the office. A lot of employees that have the option to either work in an office or virtually tend to choose working from the comfort of their home, having the freedom to decorate, switch up where they work and their motivation to work peaks.
