Q: What level(Tier) of services provided by ARAMARK Food Services.

A: Food service providers are not graded on tiers. Custodial services are graded on a tier established by APPA custodial standards. Currently WPSD is receiving Level 2 standards:

APPA-Association of Physical Plant Administrators

Property Committee Meeting May 3, 2022

15

APPA Standards

Level 2 – Ordinary Tidiness

  • Floors and base moldings shine and/or are bright and clean. There is no buildup in corners or along walls, but there can be up to two days’ worth of dirt, dust, stains or streaks.
  • All vertical and horizontal surfaces are clean, but marks, dust, smudges and fingerprints are noticeable with close observation.
  • Washroom and shower tile and fixtures gleam and are odor free. Supplies are adequate.
  • Trash containers and pencil sharpeners are empty, clean and odor‐free.

Note: Level 2 standards is the typical level for school districts. Level 1 standards are typically the standards set for hospitals and are considerably much more expensive than Level 2.
