Basic statistics on the average pay by year

  • The mean of the TotalPayBenefits went up over 4 years with slight decrease in 2014
  • The highest salary was paid in 2011
  • The number of workers increased over 4 years almost by 2 thousand
  • There is much more variation among salaries paid in both 2013 and 14 compared to 2011

Results

  • The average pay went up with slight decrease in the last year
  • There is much more variability among salaries paid
  • In order to avoid false conclusions, it is advised to look for the pay change among the same employee groups over time
