The objective of the CFLGA is to assess the performance of the LGU in implementing child friendly policies, programs, projects, and services.

More specifically, it seeks to: 

  • Determine the level of performance of the LGUs; 
  • Identify priority areas to improve the situation of children;
  • Utilize CFLGA result as basis for planning and programming; 
  • Determine areas for technical and/or financial assistance; and
  • Recognize good LGU performers.
