What is my family for me
I think I am one of those children who have a nice family. We are a family of (four). I’ve got a mother, a father and a grandmother. Everybody loves me , takes care of me. I live in the atmosphere of love and friendship. My family is a place where I can be myself.
My family supports me. I learn how to behave in difficult situations, how to get on with other people, how to cope with difficulties. My parents encourage me when I have problems and give me some advice. They don’t push me too much and never punish me if I fail in something. That is why I try to do my best and I often succeed.
My parents have a lot of friends and they often come to see us. I can also invite my friends home and my parents welcome them. My mother works hard but she has time to take me and my friends to the cinema, park or to organize a party for us.
My parents always listen to my opinion and never insult me. They are ready to answer my questions and give me a hand in need. My parents are my best friends and my family is like a sea of calm and kindness.
What family traditions I like
People all over the world have their own traditions and customs. Family traditions create good feelings and special moments to remember. Family traditions give every member of the family a stronger sense of belonging. Family traditions offer a child a sense of security.
There are a lot of traditions in my family, for example, celebrating birthdays and holidays. They help to keep the family together and they make our life more interesting. My favourite holiday is New Year. I always get a lot of presents. Besides, I like the atmosphere of this holiday as there is a great air of expectation. Traditionally, on the 31st of December we decorate the New Year Tree with bright balls and toys. We are usually at home with our family or with our friends. At 12 o'clock we wish each other "Happy New Year!" We give presents to our friends and to all the family. I also enjoy the holiday meal, which is a central part of our celebration.
The family meal is another tradition that we try to keep up in our family. In my opinion, it’s a good chance for parents and children to talk. We usually gather together in the evening and tell each other what has happened during the day. I always feel the love and support of my family. I think it’s very important.
The next tradition is that we travel together every summer. Every year we choose a place for our trip. We like it because we can be together for some weeks and also we can take beautiful photos.
Why it is good to have friends
Friends are very important in our life. I think the most important thing for being good friends is to be ready to help one another in any situation, nevertheless how difficult it is, to support one another and to solve all the problems together. And never mind, that the friends may have different interests and hobbies, different likes and dislikes. Your friend can understand everything and forgive you.
In my opinion every person should have his close friend because without him/her you feel lonely and uncomfortable: Firstly, it is important to have friends because….,Secondly, we need friends because... , Furthermore…..
So, as you see , friendship means a lot for people
About positive and negative features of your character
Every person has both positive and negative traits of character and I’m not an exception.(не исключение)
I’m quite outgoing (общительный, легкий на подъем) because I like meeting people and I am very sociable (общительный)and friendly and have many friends. I’m active and hardworking because I do a lot overtime. Furthermore (более того) I think I am kind(добрый) and friendly because I always listen to my friends’ problems, help them and give them advice. Moreover I’m cheerful(жизнерадостный), I see the best in every person and good in any situation.
On the other hand (с другой стороны) I can sometimes be a bit stubborn(упрямый) because I don’t like to change my mind.(менять решения) I’m lazy I can do nothing all day and then do all my lessons in the evening.
I’m sure my good qualities (качества)will help me in the future and I hope to cope (справиться) with negative ones.

Though I am rather a busy person and I do not have much free time I always try to find spare time for my hobbies and interests.
1. Speaking about my interests and hobbies, I’d like to say that I’m a very creative person. My favourite hobby is drawing. I have been drawing since my childhood and I have attended my art school for 8 years. I think, drawing will stay my favourite hobby and maybe it will be my way to earn money. Besides, I am fond of photography. I don’t have a really good camera, but I am good at focussing and choosing a composition. What is more, I think writing poems is another my hobby. Some friends say that I write really good poems.
2. As for me I don’t have hobbies but I have a lot of interests. One of my interests is reading. I like to read books because when I read I learn more about different people,epochs and places. Reading helps me to relax. I’m also interested in yoga. I’m fond of it because it helps me to keep fit and to feel harmony. Art is also important for me. I visit different museums and exhibitions and learn about feelings that other people have because I think that masterpieces reflect author’s emotions.

3. As for me, I am fond of music and I can play the piano very well. I have studied at a musical school for 9 years and I finished it a year ago. I like to perform in different school concerts and participate in musical contests. I am extremely fond of all kinds of dancing: from hip-hop to classical ballet. That is why I often attend different theatres and rap-discos.
What is more, I am interested in reading books. Books educate people and help to form a person’s character. I prefer reading poems and novels.
4.I can say that I'm fond of travelling because it is interesting for me to visit different countries and towns, discover new ways of life, meet different people, try different food and listen to different musical rhythms. Besides, I enjoy travelling because I can practice my English.
Sometimes, I play different sport games for health and pleasure. I usually play such games as volleyball, basketball and tennis. I am also keen on roller-skating and figure skating.
I belong to such kind of people who always need changes and new impressions. It means that the range of my hobbies is wide. In the nearest future I want to take up horse-riding, parachute-jumping and mountain skiing.

5. I have interests and hobbies in different fields. To start with, I like drawing and draw rather well, although I don’t attend any art lessons. I’m fond of creating presents. I’m happy when people enjoy my original presents. I’m crazy about reading. I read almost all kinds of books: science-fiction, adventure, fantasy, detective, romantic, historical stories, fairy tales. Another my hobby is swimming. I go to a swimming pool every week because I can’t live without water. I always try to go to seas, rivers or lakes during my summer holidays.
6. When I have some free time, I try to do different sports. As I’m interested in football I usually play it with my friends, football is my hobby. Besides, I enjoy going to the cinema with my friends. Moreover, I’m keen on reading books, especially science fiction books. Furthermore, I like playing computer games or just surfing the Net.

About your dreams and plans for the future

1.Every person makes some plans and I am not an exception. I have some dreams and plans for the nearest future. To start with, I’m going to take my English exam and pass it successfully. I want to go to a camp in Europe, where I can meet new people and improve my English. Besides, my family will certainly go to the seaside. I’ll swim, do diving and snorkeling, sunbathe, improve my health and fill up with energy. Furthermore, I want to make some projects and take up some courses during my summer holidays, that can help me to develop my knowledge.
2. First of all, I hope very much to pass my school exam successfully. Then I’m going to spend summer holidays at my dacha and at my relatives in Belarus.
Besides, I’m going to learn another foreign language and travel to different countries in the nearest future to learn more about the world, to become self-sufficient. So, those are my plans for the nearest future.
3. I must pass my English exam at the end of May. Then I want to relax after a hard school year. I will visit my grandmother in the Ukraine and go to the countryside in summer. Also I would like to find an easy job and earn some money for my interests and hobbies.
I hope all my dreams will become true.
