Introduction / Motivation

Hard outside of work to meet new friends (even harder with COVID), SocialQB is a way to organize events to connect and form relationships.

Hard to track engagement and activity. When is the right time to host an event? How often? This app can track and give insight into event hosting.

When everyone is remote, you don’t really have watercooler conversations that happen. This app can help with that.

How it’s built

Many-to-many relationship between Events and Employees table mediated by Attending entries. Add new events types or reports anytime.

Can link directly into your employee manifest or external system, or use the quickbase users table. Attendees do not have to be Quickbase users.

Email notifications fire off whenever a user gets added or removed from an event. Uses quickbase notification feature.

Future work

Improved reporting, and new event recommendations based on previously hosted events and gatherings.

Add automation to selecting employees and creating activities.

Advanced role and access splitting of the app. Currently focused on admins who could be in HR or otherwise centralized.

Add additional integrations and connections to other tracking and analytics platforms ex: fully virtual event integrations
