Helpful Middle School Tips

  • Don't give out your locker combo to anyone. If you are having trouble with your locker, see the Counselors.
  • Know your Student ID number! This is important especially if you eat a hot lunch. You give this number to the Cafeteria Ladies when checking out.
  • Learn your parents telephone numbers (or at least have them written down somewhere). Since students won't have access to their phones during the school day, you will need to learn your parents numbers. Students may use the office phones at lunch and after school
  • Know your bus route number
  • Get a planner or a notebook that stays with you to put all your important information
  • Make sure your items are labeled with your name on them. You will be in 6-7 different classrooms in a day so you have to remember where your stuff is
