Staff Appreciation Week

Staff Appreciation Week (May 5^th – May 9th)

We have an exciting week and theme planned for our staff and teachers to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.

We appreciate all your hard work!

PTA Meeting Dates

Our next and final meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 4^th. We will vote on 2025-2026 PTA E-Board positions during this meeting.

State Testing at Spencer

97% of 5th graders completed NGSS.

3-5th grade are currently taking SBAC in ELA and Math.

Maintain a Routine: Ensure consistent sleep and morning schedules for your child.

Provide Healthy Meals: Serve a nutritious breakfast to fuel focus and energy.

Stay Positive: Encourage your child with words of confidence and avoid adding pressure.

Panda Jamboree- Bounce Houses have been secured, yippee!!

Fundraisers & Events

Apparel Store (April 25^th – May 16th)

The apparel store is now open with new spring items. It will close on May 16^th, so place your orders soon.

Orders will be delivered during the week of June 2^nd.

​

Booster Fundraiser (April 1^st through May 30th)

• Our Booster fundraising platform is currently active and will stay open until May 30th. We have achieved 39% of our goal.
• We are using the Booster Platform to gather funds for Field Day T-shirts for students, staff, and volunteers, in addition to supplies for the Panda Jamboree.
• Every contribution matters, making it possible for all students, staff, and volunteers to get a T-shirt.
• Please create an account for your child on MyBooster.com and start fundraising.
• For every $10 raised, families will earn one raffle ticket for the Panda Jamboree.

Booster Fundraiser Business Sponsors

McDonald’s McEducator Night (May 21st)

• Our first McEducator Night with McDonald’s will take place on May 21^st

• There will be a Live Music, games, raffles, and giveaways

​

• 15% of sales will be given pack to Spencer PTA

Field Day (May 27^th)

• The Spencer PTA is teaming up with Coach Fairbrother for a fun filled Field Day on May 27^th ( Rain Date is May 28^th)

​

• There will be15 activity stations and 2 volunteers are needed at each station

​

• Proceeds from the Booster Fundraiser will be used to purchase items and food for this event as well as t-shirts for all students, staff and volunteers

​

• Volunteers will need to complete the DCF Form to volunteer

​

Panda Jamboree (May 30^th, Rain Date June 6^th)

• We invite you to join us at the Panda Jamboree happening on Friday, May 30th.
• The event will feature bounce houses, arts and crafts, raffles, and live music with a DJ.
• Please bring your own picnic dinner
• Raffle tickets and refreshments will be available for purchase (CASH ONLY)
• This will be our final event of the year, and it is FREE for everyone. We look forward to seeing you there!

• Wing Stop, Middletown, CT
• Tuesday, June 3^rd
• 4PM -9PM
• 10% of sales will be donated to Spencer PTA
• Flyer must be presented or mention Spencer PTA at time of purchase
