    1. CAD-BOM-Build. Download FreeCAD 16.
    2. Modular Breakdown of large project into bitesize chunks - Development Breakdown and Master CAD down to every module - and every item in BOM
      1. Understand Modular Design - with features described in Wall Module 101
    3. Make your work findable and find everyone else via your Work Log, Recent Changes. Sign up for the wiki.

    • Define Interfaces - locations, outlines, z heights. Use Master Interfaces within Master CAD.
    • Create 3 types of files
      • Sketch to 3D for Complete Module Master File - in positionally-correct location - with all editable sketches.
      • Break the above into individual parts - for purposes of automated BOM creation - save in a folder. Join into one Module Master File - as dumb objects. Not editable. Always edit in original file. This allows you to edit final file - by editing in original file.
