Introduction

  • The CPS symposium was started by UGA Center for Cyber-physical Systems in 2022.
    • Mission: bring together researchers, entrepreneurs and program directors from industry, university and government to discuss the project-based collaborations (e.g., STTR/SBIR) on CPS/IoT.
    • Impacts: 70-110 attendees each edition, $2.5M funded SBIR/STTR, $1M NSF PFI, $1M NSF Engine (led by AU).
  • The 3rd and 4th edition (2024 and 2025) focus on developing an innovation engine on CPS and security in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). 
    • 100 registered attendees, 2 keynote session, 4 presentation sessions with 14 talks, and posters and demos all the time.

The Center for Cyber-Physical Systems (CCPS) develops partnerships among university, industry and government on research and education in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) analytics and security, and fosters bold innovation and entrepreneurship in CPS. The CCPS center is an interdisciplinary research center in UGA committed to advancing research and education in CPS and to transitioning CPS science and technology into engineering practice and real-world applications with lasting impact.
