Creativity
The entrepreneur of the future must be creative and empathetic to be successful.
As material abundance and artificial intelligence are so intense, the curtain on the Conceptual Age begins to rise. Thus, concepts or ideas will be valued according to their originality. In this context, the main characters of the future will be the Creator and the Empathic.
What is creativity?
Psychological factors leading to the production of original products:
Intellectual factors:a) Fluency factors – It materializes in the possibility to imagine in a short time a large number of images, ideas, situations etc. b) Flexibility of thought - consists in the ease with which an individual makes new connections between independent elements. The ease of changing one's point of view, the way of approaching a problem, when a procedure proves inoperative. c) Originality - indicators of originality would be: unusual character of solutions, their statistical rarity, ingenuity, surprising character of new associations between the knowledge used etc.
Non-intellectual factors:
a) Aptitudinal factors – this includes especially special skills that favor the performance of types of activities with superaverage results (artistic, technical, literary, musical, skills etc.)b) Motivational and attitudinal factors: Someone's interest in a certain field makes him be connected most of the time to what concerns him, what attracts him.Attitudes, especially creative ones, can foster skill development.c) Temperamental factors – the temperament of the creative person takes its toll on his creative style, along with other factors such as social and psychological.
Levels of creativity
We can consider that there is an everyday, ordinary creativity manifested whenever people solve a problematic situation, and a high-level creativity, accessible to a minority. Irving A. Taylor differentiates and distinguishes five levels of creativity:Expressive creativity is not conditioned by any skill and is easiest to capture in children's drawings, its main characteristics are spontaneity and freedom of expression.Productive creativity is oriented towards obtaining products and involves acquiring skills that allow improving the ways of expressing creation.Inventive creativity is capitalized through inventions and discoveries and highlights the ability to grasp new and ordinary relationships.Innovative creativity involves decisively changing the approach to a phenomenon.Emerging creativity, the supreme level of creativity that very few individuals reach, involves discovering a principle, an idea that revolutionizes an entire field of knowledge.
