لم تؤمنا بي حتى تقدساني
You did not believe Me, to hallow Me
اعن عدم ايماني (مر 9 : 24)
Help my unbelief
(Mar 9 : 24)
و اتى بنو اسرائيل الجماعة كلها الى برية صين في الشهر الاول و اقام الشعب في قادش و ماتت هناك مريم و دفنت هناك. و لم يكن ماء للجماعة فاجتمعوا على موسى و هرون. و خاصم الشعب موسى و كلموه قائلين ليتنا فنينا فناء اخوتنا امام الرب.
Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there. Now there was no water for the congregation; so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron. And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: "If only we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!.
لماذا اتيتما بجماعة الرب الى هذه البرية لكي نموت فيها نحن و مواشينا. و لماذا اصعدتمانا من مصر لتاتيا بنا الى هذا المكان الرديء ليس هو مكان زرع و تين و كرم و رمان و لا فيه ماء للشرب. فاتى موسى و هرون من امام الجماعة الى باب خيمة
"Why have you brought up the assembly of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?. "And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It [is] not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor [is] there any water to drink". So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle
الاجتماع و سقطا على وجهيهما فتراءى لهما مجد الرب. و كلم الرب موسى قائلا. خذ العصا و اجمع الجماعة انت و هرون اخوك و كلما الصخرة امام اعينهم ان تعطي ماءها فتخرج لهم ماء من الصخرة و تسقي الجماعة و مواشيهم.
of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the LORD appeared to them. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,. "Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals".
فاخذ موسى العصا من امام الرب كما امره. و جمع موسى و هرون الجمهور امام الصخرة فقال لهم اسمعوا ايها المردة امن هذه الصخرة نخرج لكم ماء. و رفع موسى يده و ضرب الصخرة بعصاه مرتين فخرج ماء غزير فشربت الجماعة و مواشيها.
So Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?". Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.
فقال الرب لموسى و هرون من اجل انكما لم تؤمنا بي حتى تقدساني امام اعين بني اسرائيل لذلك لا تدخلان هذه الجماعة الى الارض التي اعطيتهم اياها. هذا ماء مريبة حيث خاصم بنو اسرائيل الرب فتقدس فيهم. (عد 20: 1 – 13)
Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them". This [was] the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the LORD, and He was hallowed among them. (Num 20 : 1 – 13)
أين الخطأ
Where is the mistake
Is it in getting annoyed or worried??
2. هل في الغضب ... (أيها المردة)؟؟
Is it in anger … (you rebels)??
3. هل في ... الشك أو الاستهتار ... أمن هذه الصخرة نُخرج لكم ماء؟؟
Is it … in doubting and recklessness …
Must we bring water for you out of this rock??
أين الخطأ
Where is the mistake
5. هل في ضياع تأثير السجود والإنسحاق سريعاً؟؟
Is it in loosing quickly the effect of
Kneeling in worship and humbleness??
4. هل في ضرب الصخرة مرتين؟؟
Is it in striking the rock twice??
6. هل في عدم الإيمان؟؟؟؟؟؟؟
Is it in the unbelieving??????
سابقة أخرى Another Incident
ثم ارتحل كل جماعة بني اسرائيل من برية سين بحسب مراحلهم على موجب امر الرب و نزلوا في رفيديم و لم يكن ماء ليشرب الشعب. فخاصم الشعب موسى و قالوا اعطونا ماء لنشرب فقال لهم موسى لماذا تخاصمونني لماذا تجربون الرب.
Then all the congregation of the children of Israel set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, according to the commandment of the LORD, and camped in Rephidim; but [there was] no water for the people to drink. Therefore the people contended with Moses, and said, "Give us water, that we may drink" And Moses said to them, "Why do you contend with me? Why do you tempt the LORD?“.
و عطش هناك الشعب الى الماء و تذمر الشعب على موسى و قالوا لماذا اصعدتنا من مصر لتميتنا و اولادنا و مواشينا بالعطش. فصرخ موسى الى الرب قائلا ماذا افعل بهذا الشعب بعد قليل يرجمونني.
And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses, and said, "Why [is] it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?“. So Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me!“.
سابقة أخرى Another Incident
فقال الرب لموسى مر قدام الشعب و خذ معك من شيوخ اسرائيل و عصاك التي ضربت بها النهر خذها في يدك و اذهب. ها انا اقف امامك هناك على الصخرة في حوريب فتضرب الصخرة فيخرج منها ماء ليشرب الشعب ففعل موسى هكذا امام عيون شيوخ اسرائيل.
And the LORD said to Moses, "Go on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. Also take in your hand your rod with which you struck the river, and go. "Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink" And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
سابقة أخرى Another Incident
و دعا اسم الموضع مسة و مريبة من اجل مخاصمة بني اسرائيل و من اجل تجربتهم للرب قائلين افي وسطنا الرب ام لا. (خر 17 : 1 – 7)
So he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us or not?".
(Exo 17 : 1 – 7)

ضغط الناس أو الظروف
Pressure from people or stressful conditions
أخبار غير متوقعة أو غير سارة
Unexpected or saddening news
عدم الإيمان
The Unbelief
حين ينمو الإيمان ... يزداد الهدوء
When faith grows, quietness increases
حين ينمو الإتكال .... تزداد الحكمة
When depending on God increases, wisdom increases
حين يقودنا الروح القدس ... تظهر الوداعة
When we are led by the Holy Spirit, meekness arises

2) الغضب .... الإنفعالات العنيفة
Anger … Violent emotions
3) الشك أو الاستهتار Doubt and Carelessness
و جمع موسى و هرون الجمهور امام الصخرة فقال لهم اسمعوا ايها المردة امن هذه الصخرة نخرج لكم ماء (عد 20 : 10)
And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?" (Num 20 : 10)
كان يمكن ألا يستجيب الله بسبب هذه الروح الغضوب
He could have not responded to God
due to this short tempered spirit

3) الشك أو الاستهتار Doubt and Carelessness
و جمع موسى و هرون الجمهور امام الصخرة فقال لهم اسمعوا ايها المردة امن هذه الصخرة نخرج لكم ماء (عد 20 : 10)
And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?" (Num 20 : 10)
لكن الماء خرج من أجل إحتياج الناس
But the water came out due the peoples’ need
التأديب مستمر بسبب العثرة
Disciplining continues due to getting stumbled
فقال الرب لموسى و هرون من اجل انكما لم تؤمنا بي حتى تقدساني امام اعين بني اسرائيل لذلك لا تدخلان هذه الجماعة الى الارض التي اعطيتهم اياها. (عد 20 : 12)
hen the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them". (Num 20 : 12)
3) الشك أو الاستهتار Doubt and Carelessness
عدم الإيمان The Unbelief
4) عدم التدقيق؟؟ Not being meticulous??
و رفع موسى يده وضرب الصخرة بعصاه مرتين فخرج ماء غزير
فشربت الجماعة و مواشيها (عد 20 : 11)
Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank (Num 20 : 11)
التدقيق علامة خشوع (إيمان)
Carefulness is a sign of respect and reverence (Faith)

4) عدم التدقيق؟؟ Not being meticulous??
و رفع موسى يده وضرب الصخرة بعصاه مرتين فخرج ماء غزير
فشربت الجماعة و مواشيها (عد 20 : 11)
Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank (Num 20 : 11)
الحرص علامة تواضع (إيمان)
Carefulness is a sign of humbleness (Faith)

4) عدم التدقيق؟؟ Not being meticulous??

فشربت الجماعة و مواشيها (عد 20 : 11)
Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank (Num 20 : 11)
أول مرة زي عاشر مرة؟؟
The first time is the same as the tenth time??
عدم الإيمان The Unbelief
5) ضياع التأثير سريعاً؟؟ Short lasting effect??
ضياع قيمة السجود
Loosing the worthiness of kneeling in worship
فاتى موسى و هرون من امام الجماعة الى باب خيمة الاجتماع و سقطا على وجهيهما فتراءى لهما مجد الرب. (عد 20 : 6)
So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the LORD appeared to them. (Num 20 : 6)
عدم الإيمان The Unbelief
إيليا ... بين الكرمل وحوريب
Elijah ... Between Horeb and Carmel
التلاميذ ... بين العُلية وجثيماني
The disciples ...
Between the Upper room and Gasimany
داود ... بين المغارة وأخيش
David ... Between Achish and the cave
5) ضياع التأثير سريعاً؟؟ Short lasting effect??
عدم الإيمان The Unbelief
تعالوا Let us
نحترص بعد كل مرة نهضة روحية ... ألا يسرقنا الشيطان
Be cautious after every spiritual revival … or else the devil will steal it away
نخاف من أن نعتاد أي ممارسة روحية فنفقد الخشوع
Beware from practicing any spiritual activity
as a routine, lest we loose the spirit of reverence
تعالوا Let us
نتذكر النعمة التي تحتملنا فلا يصيبنا الغرور
Remember the grace that is shielding us
so as not to become arrogant
نُكثر من السجود طالبين الحكمة والوداعة
Practice more prostration / kneeling in worship
requesting wisdom and meekness
