Kirkwood Academy Programs

What is an Academy?

• Group of college coursework based upon postsecondary interest
• Four - five college classes split between two semesters
• Required to take all courses within the academy; year-long commitment
• Courses taken at Kirkwood Regional Center - Oakdale Blvd
• AM (7:30 - 9:00 am) or PM (1:30 - 3:00pm) option
• Free of charge!

Academy Requirements:

• Composition- 3.0 high school cumulative GPA
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- must be 17 yrs old
• Patient Care- must be 16 yrs old
