We have finished the beginning of the year testing. Next we week I will be sending the results home. There will also be a fluency folder that will be coming home to help with practicing the letters and sounds.

Homework/Fluency folders are coming home in your child’s backpack. These are the green folders. They have skills that your child can practice and will need to master by the end of the year. There is a dry erase marker so that they can practice letter, number and name formation.

Today during the UFLI test each and every student worked very hard. I was amazed as I watched them take time to sound out words. When they worked on the sentences at the end it was so awesome to see them take a 6 word sentence and sound out each word. They also remembered spacing and punctuation! I know each word is not always right but they are so close! Give your child a high five today!
