Background and approach
The Jisc Digital Experience Tracker is a survey of students’ expectations and experiences of technology.
Keele was accepted by Jisc to participate in a closed pilot in March 2015.

How did we involve faculties and Schools?
Targeted participation, approaching academic colleagues, via Associate Deans for Learning and Teaching.
Colleagues helped to promote the survey. By doing this, the number of responses would be maximised whilst ensuring that each faculty would be represented.
How Did We Involve students?
A clickable banner added to the homepage of the relevant KLE module spaces.
Using the the first 10 minutes of core lecture slots to explain the background to the survey, anonymity and inviting students to complete the survey in class.
An email circulated by module leaders containing a link and details of the survey.
